Retired from Osco Drug after 38 years as General Manager, married to wife (Judy) for 27 years, together we have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
My interests are Computers, Fishing and Travel.
I was a licensed fishing guide in Arizona for 10 years and have fished professionally for over 20 years. I continue to fish Bass Tournaments with my teammate Joe Hawks. Joe's photographic work can be seen at www.azstormchaser.com
My first computer was a Tandy Color Computer also as known as a CoCo. I learned to write Basic programs on this unit. Next came a massive 20meg Hard drive unit, from which I learned DOS. I stayed away from Windows until Windows 95, after that I was hooked and currently run Windows XP Pro, Windows 7, and Linux "Ubuntu" Lucid Lynx distribution.
Currently I am a member of PLUG (Phoenix Linux user group), SVECC (Sunland Village Computer Club), ASCIi Computer Club, SLUG (Sunland Linux user group), EVALUG ( East Valley Association Linux user group) and AZACC (Arizona Association of Computer Clubs. Through SVECC I also am a member of APCUG (a national organization of computer clubs)
I have attended multiple training courses in Linux, Word, Excel, Windows, Frontpage, Expression Web, Power Point, and Access, I am current in the use of Windows XP, Windows Vista Windows 7 and Lucid Lynx version of Ubuntu Linux.
In addition I currently am Webmaster on 3 web sites and work as a consultant with 2 small business operators.
